was out shopping with mum for a while since she got a $100 metro voucher due to her investment with a bank. mum also discussed e prospect of getting a brand new 4 room flat in sengkang.
I WANT MY OWN ROOM! mum bought bedsheet which cost close to $70. i literally sulked in e sense coz mummy was like if i win a lot in my soccer bet tonight i'll buy you that $1000+ mattress. and that applies only to Yi. i really feel that she is an overly pampered child whose needs are also covered up with material things. i did feel like a kid at tat very moment...
but at the same time it was kids that really brightens up my life...
the innocent look that they give you makes your heart give way to all the emotions that had build up throughout the day
it is practically impossible to withhold anything from them
their world is really as simple as 1 + 1 = 2
i really do wish that all of us could come with such simplicity of heart
without motives just as we are
they taught me the value of unconditional love and how to be forgiving
no one can ever bear to hold against them for their mistakes
there is a kid within each and every one of us
we just need to look in for our inner child
(which some of us have yet to outgrown)
even not, you just need to turn to a toddler near to you
they are the best role models that one could ever have
a hug, a smile, a wave could mean the whole world to them even if it didnt seem very big to you...
aim to touch the world of the ppl around you, both young and old alike. they just need a touch from you to make it their day and your lil effort goes an extra long way, esp for ppl like me whose primary love language is words of affirmation. but dun get me wrong, it doesnt mean for you to giveme flattery but more of dropping in msgs telling me tat i matter to you can really make my day and serves as an encouragement when i'm in a valley...
gotta go and study le. just had thoughts on it so thought tat i would juz blogged it up...
