pro 31:21 - "She fears not the snow for her family, for all her household are doubly clothed in scarlet."

The virtuous woman sees the approaching chill of winter and is ready for the challenge. She has warm garments prepared for her family. Those warm garments to me represent her prayers that are prayed for family and friends. These perceptive prayers clothe and protect her husband, her sons and daughters, and her friends against the icy blasts of trouble or difficulty. She is alert and engaged and ready for anything, and that makes her a good woman to know during a winter season.

the sermon for cg today went to proverbs 31 as well. and this entire verse is dedicated to Bathsheba, a woman who knew how to handle the disappointments in life with a godly attitude, God's way. was really touched by the end of the sermon. it really came to me that indeed no matter how tough the going gets, we shld soften our hearts and draw back closer to God. why compromise for sth that is sth lesser when in each and every single one have a noble seed of the highest quality in us, that seed for sth beyond ourselves, our vision, destiny and calling? by drawing away frm the fellowship of the church and God himself, we are juz shortchanging ourselves and becoming like the degenerate plant of an alien vine, missing out on the best, settling for the second, or even the third rated. all of us have the capacity for sth bigger than what our human minds can conceive if only we are willing to draw near to God and surrender all in obedience. been reading a lot of verses on obedience. one of which is in psalms. the gist of it is if we are prompt to obey and do the things we are tasked, we will stand before kings, and not unknown man. to me i feel really challenged to be disciplined and to be swift to hear and do what i hear, i MUST stop procrastinating.

Jeremiah 2:21
Yet I had planted you a noble vine, a seed of highest quality.
How then have you turned before Me
Into the degenerate plant of an alien vine?

this was what i shared during worship. friends, really dun compromise when God has already taken the step to lead and guide you through. learn to be in total surrender! it feels great hearing from God and prophesying. i WANT to prophesy every week and build up my spiritual senses and be ready to share e Word when it is time. we need to learn to be ever-ready to do whatever can happens, learning to flow with e Spirit.

what blessed me the most today was the sermon. Michal vs Bathsheba. indeed in life, it is never what happens to a person that will determine the outcome of ur life, but rather, what you do about it and what is ur response towards them. Ps 73:17 ( Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end. ) just reminded me of how the many times where i constantly questioned why the things were the way it was and juz simply ending up in frustration. i wanted to give up and juz leave everything for good once and for all. but yet, there was this promise for me to draw nearer and tarry on. it is really as i learn to draw nearer to God den i began to understand and see the reason of it being so. God also wants to release us from the bondage of such disappointments. really dun allow yourself to be crippled from what God has in store for you simply because of these barriers holding you back. i came to the realization of how all these heartaches have caused me to be numb in some of my emotions, not being able to feel the fire, excitement and passion. it was just such a release when Barry laid hands to pray for us. that moment in cg marked a new chapter of my life. one that is committed to lift up all disppoinments and God is able to release bondages from. Inner healing is a process. things will still continue to happen but i'm not going to cry tears of despair anymore but really believe in my whole heart that God will work things out for me, for i am His child.

though i didnt do very well for my common tests this time round, it juz simply meant room for improvement and to learn proper time management in my life. and the bottom line, God is still good through it all.

michelle shared a testimony which i in turn shared with sarah. God is able to open up the doors of people's hearts to us and help to gel us up as a whole, giving to us many opportunities. i want to see that in less than 3 mths to 06S04, no matter what it takes, prayer and fasting.

and like what ppl have been telling me, i'm a year older now le. i felt that it was not juz the age element that marked 5 July 2006 special to me, but it was a verge of a fresh start of breakthroughs. Jiamei did share a lot with me and which i really benefitted. thank God for the ppl we have in our lives who are wise. will talk about it again. but now really juz wanna revise my work and soak myself in the very presence of my abba daddy.

a smile is a curved line that sets things straight.

oh. and i want to go for mission trip! hopefully for north east asia...
