independence, interdependence or reliance?

i'm not a superhuman

just someone ordinary with an extraordinary God

i have my hurts and my needs

i need people to support me through

people that i can call friends close to my heart

no man is an island

thats what has been often said

but who can really understand the pain and struggles that i've been through

even in this very time

someone who would we willing to listen to me

even in the very wee hours of the day

or someone to just hear me whine and let out

maybe just on the other line

making his(her) presence felt

two are indeed better then one

but where is my 'other' one

i'm thankful for the leaders that i have in my life

but they too have their lives
