indeed the day when the prodigal son returns, there would be great rejoicing.
i was so happy when my dearest expressed intentions to at least try to start studying. i was so excited the entire day even as i returned from school, wanting to see my dearest and hang out to chill. even as dearest chose to go out with friends, i got down to my work.
but yet, once again dearest became a cause of heartache and worry as my day almost come to and end. tears flow endlessly from me as dearest left my reach for now. why must it always be so when i am very near crucial exams? i don't understand. is tis sth that i can and ought to overcome?
all i ask for now is for dearest to become sensible. i wont try to control dearest as this is what dearest would resist the most. i wanted to run after dearest juz now but i dare not, for fear of being screamed at, for fear of being rejected. yet. at this very point, i have made a few decisions. i wrote a letter to dearest. i'm not asking for instant change but God, i pray the same prayer as i made, for a work to be done by the Spirit in dearest's heart. for by me, there is so little i can do. but Your love melts down all. i choose to be commited into this whole relationship with my dearest all over again last Sat when Pst ministered. though thoughts may creep in to give up on her yet i would not want to listen to them. God, give me the strength, love and courage to do so. though more heartaches may come but yet i will learn to better manage my expectations and press on for God, in you, the prodigal will return.
