week in brief - ms catastrophe sustained 4 injuries in a week
but anyway, what got me to get down to blogging now is today's service and a man dat appeared at the door...
"the service today was really simply awesome but God spoke right into my heart about salvation. and i felt really burdened. the cg seems to no longer have a love for outreach. i wonder how come we all got so complacent. there were no friends that came for the service this week.
healing miracles are really a spiritual tenderizer of human hearts. so many pple went down for the altar call today. even as a christian, i was deeply awed by how real God can be in our lives and that He is someone so practical. i deeply wished that i had brought my grandparents and invited ken instead of waiting for FOP.
i got really pricked by 2 things that the time for SALVATION and HEALING is really now. how much do you want to see this in the lives of the ppl ard you? let your actions meet your desires.let's not wait for the next healing evangelist to come into town to pray for a friend that needs healing. let's be vessels that God can use to minister to the pple ard us.
and i was just reminded that fellowship is not just for personal edification although it is good and neccessary. but instead, let us also challenge each other to grow in our love for God and for people ard us, not just those of the household. what is the point in being so caught up in the busy-ness of our daily lioves and lose sight of what shld be the most dear and precious in our lives? and the man that appeared at my door was a christian and has written a book. got really inspired by the things that he has been doing and my dream of writing a book someday has been renewed. i want to live a life of immense value. i'll probably start posting more of my personal inspirations on my blog and start on writing a book...
and one other BIG takeaway i had from today's service was that when we speak in tongues den stop and speak in understanding, the HS can speak thru us to us and bless our understanding. received a word for myself today. yay!
