a brief lookback at the week...
(i'm now on the bus towards holland v.
there is a huge crowd celebrating thaipusam outside park mall.
looks really majestic. will catch one next year i guess.
rarely do we get to embrace the multi-cultural singapore we live in)
friday...went shopping with yang at the puma warehse sale on friday.
grabbed a lot of bargains which i'm really happy abt.
new shoes, new tops, and a dress. ^^
hope that we can get together and fellowship again soon.
saturday...sat sermon was great.
the keys pst was imparting to us was really abt faith (confidence) and the importance of our secret place.
been feeling rather inadequate.
ended 2007 with a vision for this year tat i was really excited abt and still am.
but i know that my dreams and desires will never happen on my own.
need to spend even more secret place time to build up my confidence and assurance as God's dear daughter.
ran was very nice and gave barry, mel and me a lift home after fellowship.
i wish i could drive... (postponing it to nxt yr)
was good talking to mel and thanks for his assurances and counsel!
didnt sleep tat night.
was thinking abt things and making an angel clay photo frame for annie to get my mind off stuff.
i sure miss those card-making days.
it has always been a joy to bring your own ideas into reality,
satisfied with the lil gift i made.
thinking of making some stuff for valentine's day...
sunday...served in OAG @ expo.
brought the kids down to the Singapore Discovery Centre.
pretty amazing how we can bring them there and return all within a service time.
it sure did look rather different from the last time i was there.
tis time they had a whole lot more videos and stimulations.
one freaky part was when little george sang twinkle twinkle.
my hair almost stood on its ends.
alvin and the chipmunks are still the best.
got to know loads of new ppl after svc.
like annie's cg members, jasmine, kenneth, cheryl and another ldr...
anyway, was fun talking to ppl frm the camp like shiying, liyun, zihao, jialiang, howard and annie.
and also at the same time, getting to know more people...
met up with mab for a short while.
passed her birthday pressie and chatted.
she is now ATTACHED! whee!
monday...avocado juice is nice! ^^
tuesday...celebrated yl, daryl and ye's bday at breko holland v.
was pretty alright with our own invented ice-cream cake.
3 hagan daz ice-cream cones stuck on a sponge cake.
cool idea.
tiring day at work.
and now, more work to go...
