pastor tan's msg on change has really geared me up for the new year. i am excited to start this year with SOT 2008 in my plans. no idea where God is bringing me to this year but i am sure looking forward. uni life will start in august. sure wanting to get into NUS tis year. ^^
going to blog daily (as much as i can) and decided to put up more pics since a picture speaks louder than a thousand words.
what i did on new year's eve...
finally got to go out with yanglin. teacher eng wee and yang's bro were there too. had lunch at far east plaza after 3 hrs of work in the office. there is this self-serve jap food kiosk in fasr east plaza. the food was not bad. had yummy mochi ice-cream too.
we went too esprit after dat. yang bought a few tops and we helped ew to get a gift for his fren. super tempted to buy a pair of shorts since yang gt discount. but will probably wait for a while first. =)
went to bugis with yang after dat to see her in action - doing make-up for the performers in her zone outreach event. picked up some techniques along the way as well. went off an hour later as felt a bit out of place sitting ard. kinda used to all the action. =p
went to the shop at square 2 after dat to send out emails, chill and had coffee. yay! went to countdown with the rest at padang there after. beautiful fireworks. won't it be great to haf personal fireworks set off for ourselves?

went to chinatown point mac to spend the night there. we ate, drank and had loads of fun. kenn taught us a few new games. we had police and thief intergorration style. so many questions that were asked and we had a few good laughs. played another game that we had to drink a concotion as a sabo. coke, milo and chilli. the drink itself
ling ren fan wei. den our dear thomas spilled the drink over unto jaan and myself. and there goes my bag. gonna wash it soon since i've already soaked it. but it was a good closure to the game since the drink was totally disgusting.
had fish porridge at chinatown after dat with
yu sheng. yummy. bought back for mummy too. concussed on the bus. was super tired. thanks jaan for helpin me with my bag and carrying it all the way back. ^^
replied intermittently as i was sleeping. finally got myself up out of bed ard 3pm. mummy bought mango cheescake. yummy. love cheesecake. still can rmb that once james's place specially went to snoopy place to get a cake for me for my birthday. was touched greatly.
blogged for the rest of the day and chatted with friends. was just chatting with ew. isn't it true that every time we make a stand for God we begin to face testings? for me, it is almost immediate. but now, i am no longer taunted for i know what God has called me to, He provides. i'm glad for the stand that i have made and here i will stand, embracing it. gonna fight on and not let my faith leak. every day is a choice to renew our faith or let it leak. thanks ew for offering a listening ear and sharing ur exp. xie xie lao shi!
