been almost 2 weeks since i last got to blog properly.
time really flies now that cny is over.
so many things that has happened in the short span of time and many of which has impacted me personally by quite a fair bit.
from the most recent, i finally got to catch a movie with yp.
went to watch ah long pte ltd on
mon after my tuition.
really thankful for her being so willing to take time out to spend time with me.
always been wanting to fellowship more with her.
i think i seriously need to be more pro-active.
sth else i realised is that i need to be specific abt when and where i want to meet so that the meeting ups do happen.
i think i rather pple tell me exactly when and where to meet than till wait for me to be free.
nth ever happens whenever i wait till i am free cause i never seem to find time for.
need to make time for things.
on the third day of chinese new year (
sat), gave tuition before gg to ntuc to buy ingredients to make one of my fav - sushi bread.
brought some to
wu yi house for my relatives to savour.
made another batch for fots gathering after that.
aunties praised me for a good job done with the food.
interesting thing is that i found out that 2 of my cousins' wife are into cardmaking as well.
never expected any of them to share a common interest with me.
apart from that, played with dearest owen who stuck to me pretty much often in the time i was there.
will try to make time to visit him soon!
rui feng commented that i cld make it very well as a nanny, judging on how i was looking after owen, feeding and playing with him.
don't know if it is sth worth rejoicing but i am rather used to it by now.
somehow, my aunties started on my
love life when i was in the room making randy's card (another proud creation). heard my names mentioned many times over.
and at the end, i found out that they were suggesting that rui feng and i go together.
many reasons as of why it won't happen. he is a non-christian, he is 7 mths younger and the list goes on.
had fots steamboat lo hei after that.
they sure had a roaring good time lo hei-ing.
i just took a stand by the side.
on
sunday, i finally got down to taking my passport sized photos and finishing up my SOT application.
all that is left to be settled now is the registration fee.
don't know how the interview will turn out.
hopefully, it'll be a breeze. ^^
was reading tanpeng's blog and was inspired by things that she learnt in SOT.
looking realy forward to my turn now! yay!
apart frm that, what i really enjoyed was the fellowship with barry, mel, ye and kenn.
the conversation we had was interesting and causes many food for thought.
as usual, the conversations that pple have been having with me has somehow circled around relationships. (which i will try to blog soon...)
secrets were shared and also, life principles were learnt.
always enjoyed fellowship with this bunch of people.
thank God for blessing us with great friends foe we can lean on their faith when we are lacking in ours...
