was on the train when i saw a toddler fiddling with the things around him, interacting with the adults.
it sparked off the thought that children are really gifts from God into our lives. a young child is without guile and very simple in their thoughts and faith. they are without motives and they take you as who you are. they cant be bothered to conceal their feelings and you can take them at their face value. everything is so straightforward and real about them. you don't have to second guess them. and their concern for you is genuine. they give you a hug or a pat when they see you down and out. children and hypocrisy don't go together. it is then no surprise that they are the ones that can move across all boundaries and gel people together, even total strangers.
i believe that is what having child-like faith is about. and isnt it true that children have no problem entering the kingdom? let's learn to be child-like and not childish in our ways...
