What would your response be when you face problems in life? To those that are more optimistic, they view every problem as an opportunity to be made use of in helping them to become better people. On the other hand, many would choose to escape from the problems they face. There are many ways in which people try to escape from their problems. Two of the more noted occurrences are overeating and oversleeping. These methods help to distract one from his problem temporarily as they satisfy one physically. In other words, they are but temporary solutions to their ever-present problems. The problems they face are still eventually unresolved. In addition, overeating and oversleeping have detrimental effects on one’s health. Consequently, one who tries to evade his problem finds himself getting into deeper trouble as he gets his health implicated negatively and finds that the problem is still unresolved. Hence, let’s learn to face up to our problems and view them as challenges that can be surmounted. There is nothing that is impossible for the determined and positive. And ultimately, what distinguishes one from the ordinary is the strength and resilience to face up to problems and not shy away from them. Let’s learn to take charge of our problems and solve them as questions in examinations, for when we pass them, we enter into a new level of maturity and grow out of childishness.
This is what i wrote for an assigment that is to be submitted. felt that it is pretty relate-able to how i am feeling right now. i will no longer stay in the dream world of comfort. it's time i took the step out. i will confront my emotions and move on. no more looking back. i can overcome and surmount this with You! all things are possible to him who believes...
