Happy Birthday Jimmy! didn't manage to get down today to celebrate and fellowship with FOTS. had stuff to do. jim's reply to my birthday msg got me thinking though...
been rather busy to meet FOTS. in fact, have not seen them for a month, ever since SOT graduation. do miss them quite a bit. all the talk about trying to meet up never quite seem to have happened.
like what jim said was true in just enjoying the simple joy of friendship.the times we spent laughing, random meet-ups and springing of surprises were just incredible. not forgetting the times that we encouraged one another, praying together and standing by one another. on top of that, they never ask what i could give to them but yet so willingly met up to fill up my love tank when it was running low. i am blessed to have friends like them.
and a conclusion that i arrive at is that end of the day, when i look back, i don't want to be known just as a person who was always willing to serve. i want to see people by my side, the ones that i call friends, people who fought together with me and having braved the storms together. i really need to strike a balance between the things i do, family and relationships that i build. wisdom is much needed...
it is a blessing to know that you are learning something new each day...
