what doesn't kill you can only make you stronger. that was what uncle kan wee said to me after i had a fall at settler's. i told him then he has a great lack of sympathy.
but thinking back, it is true for many of the things that we face in life. this past 2 to 3 weeks have been crazy. i am tried, tested, and waiting to be proven...
being nice did cause me a set of unwanted problems, putting my reputation to the line. never ever did i imagine sth like that could ever happen. i lay there broken. there is no longer a need for me to try to defend or explain myself. i see no point in doing that. it just wears me out in the end, thinking of the different view and standpoints. i like how the chinese saying go, qing ze zi qing. i'm leaving everything to God's hands and focus on what i am supposed and able to be doing. it just doesn't make sense to fight for myself.
i'm glad that everything now is returning to normal. the battles and giants i fight everyday gives me greater strength for the next. and each day, i learn to set different boundaries. i like the prcess of learning something new each day and growing into a woman like Bathsheba in proverbs 31.
no longer thinking of the implications of all that has happened. i'm moving on with Him by my side. His love, mercies and compassions towards me are new every morning. what greater love could there be and i know He alone satisfies me.
and i really thank God that through it all, i can still be a blessing to the people around me. listening to them and cheering them on. i love my life, every single moment of it.
