HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY!!!
saw this quote on the bus while i was travelling today...
while we try to teach children about life, they teach us what life is about...i am thankful to all the children that God has put in my life. right from those learning to talk, to those that are entering into cgs, becoming youths and teenagers with a mind of their own. each of them has taught me something.
the way they love, the way they trust, the way they believe.
isn't it any wonder that we are taught and told to have child-like faith?
their world is one that is untainted and simple, so pure.
my dear kids and 'kids'...
you taught me to love, and taught me to give, at times at the expense of myself.
the hugs you give and the way you called my name, i would never give anything in exchange for them. even for the way you smile when i call your name warms my heart deeply.
inside each and every one of you are such tremendous potential. i would love to see all of you bloom into the destiny for each of your lives...
am just reminded about lil' margaret...
held her in my arms that day when she was crying for mummy. the way she look and the way she asked and received simply melted my heart. in turn, i felt really loved to see her playing and smiling each time i called her name. darling!
i'll have lovely children next time too! haha.
