never had a christian name and never thought i would have one esp since after my water baptism in 2002. but it just came to me in the nus prayer meeting and was affirmed in the prayer meeting and again, on monday.
i know i'm standing at a brink of a breakthrough to the next level in my mindset. one thing i don't usually like to do is to make decisions. over the years, i made many decisions based on the circumstances and situation, decisions that were made to respond. i made those decisions that i did because i had to, be it in school or ministry. i think i disliked making decisions because of the responsibility that came with it. i was otherwise known as indecisive.
but i realized that it is no longer making decisions based on what happens, but i need to decide on what will happen and plan for it to happen. a leader influences changes and not invoke changes to react. and God reminded me that through all these years, His grace has provided the wisdom that i needed in all the circumstances i faced and that His grace will be even more evident in my life as i make even more decisions in my life, many of which will have great impact. i know that i don't have to fear when His hands are there to lead me on.
Pst Ulf today brought the whole picture together. since young, i have always been trying to live up to expectations and exceed them, esp those from mummy. this is probably why i never liked making decisons, i don't want to disappoint. but praise God! we never need to live in fear for the joy of the Lord sustains and strengthens us. i don't need to live under the anticipation of others but just to follow in obedience for God's will over my life. and that is then which i would say, His grace is more than sufficient for me...
He is ever gracious to His children...
