as i read boy meets girl, i know that there can never be a compromise for me when it comes to my relationship with God. i want to be at my best at all times. i need to learn to trust in God more and that involves the growing of patience and learning to wait.
there are many things in life that cannot be rushed and that is when we all need to know that God is moving even there are times we don't see His hands intervening. that is when our trust in God's character and faithfulness is being tested.
there are times that i wished that i had the answers to it all. but i realised that i don't need to know it all. i'll get to know what i need to know eventually. the rest doesn't really matter. beneath it all, i take comfort that my God knows and understands everything and that He is in control.
a friend of mine was just wishing for life to be simpler. but life can be simple. God made that provision by giving us the Holy Spirit. we just keep at what we have been called to do and at the same time, keep ourselves yielded to the voice of the Holy Spirit. i have learnt that the Spirit voices out when we are moving off track. this is of course never an easy feat to do since most of us have a way that we want things done by. this is when our trust is once again tested. are we going to be guided by our human wisdom or simply be guided by His voice?
i am excited for the week of morning prayers. looking forward to go on to a new level of intimacy with Him. nothing else matters more than Him and my heart can take no other than Him. i'm learning to enjoy my gift of singleness and not to be found wanting. Only He can fill me to the overflow. it's time to focus and chiong for all that has been put into my heart. it is time that i lay my life down once again and go all out, body, soul and spirit for the work that i have been called to. not forgetting my priority as a student to really chiong for the next 2 weeks.
and in times like these, i choose to learn to trust God more and i declare that my God is greater and He is above all! Listening to My God Reigns has helped to build up faith...
