been feeling like a kid for the past few days. i seemed to have lost my sense of direction and i am right in the midst of exploration and finding. mab tells me that i need to learn to take a breather and give myself a day off every week to rest. esp since right after sot, i started my lessons in ntu and then was exams, ac and now, busy working and serving. like what has always been said, a time to rest prepares us for the longer journey ahead.
these days, i also seem to find myself continually in situations that things are no longer just black and white. people no longer tell me exactly what is that i can do and what to do in situations. i sometimes wish that someone can direct me and guide me in what to do. but i guess it all forms the process of growing up - learning to make our own decisions, even if it means failing.
in the process of growing up, we form habits. was just reminded that the way we rid ourselves of habits is by replacing them. and the forming of a new habit, making it permanent, takes six weeks. i am learning to follow through a decision that i have made. it is indeed a struggle and definitely not easy but yet, necessary...
growing up helps us to learn of the importance of weighing priorities...
