i appreciate the time that i have to sit by myself to think about things and to reflect upon them. sometimes things around us happens just so quickly that our hearts can barely catch up. and before we know it, we probably forget about the victories that we have had.
one thing i learnt is that the negative usually stay longer than the positive. someone once told me that for every negative word that was said to you, it takes 16 other positive words to make up for that one. i guess it applies to our memory as well too. when the going gets tough, the negative tends to flood to us much more than the positive. thus, i find it important that i learn to jot down my daily journeys. learning from them and celebrating the progress that i make along the way.
the past three months have been rather enriching. a time that i learnt a whole lot about how our human heart works, how relationship works and also, how God and faith works. mistakes a many that i have made, and some of it are really not what i can call glamorous. but i thank God for gracious leaders and that He Himself is so gracious. as i navigate my way through it, i know i'm not doing it on my own but i can lean on the HolySpirit and have the support of my friends and leaders. i thank God for the room to still make mistakes.
i do feel rather tired and drained really easily these days. but i am glad that as i go through these, things can only get better. and even as i learn, i ask for greater wisdom and insight into the situation...
