today is a day of firsts for me. had my first cgm without barry ard. it really is very different and somehow, i eneded up being really tongue-tied today. preached to the largest group of people i have ever, apart from in children's church. there is really so much more that i need to work on in my life, body, soul and spirit...
we played Monopoly Live! after cg today. it was really really 'crazy' in some sense. zihui, crystal and i had our phones ringing non-stop for an hour or so. pretty much like a scene at the stock exchange. was really fun though but eventually, it did get a bit 'shocking' to hear my phone ring again.
and being at home before twelve today is a luxury. looking forward to spending more time with bed. been rather sleep-deprived for the past two to three days. i realized that i do enjoy the time i have to myself to plan, to think, to read a lot more now than i have ever had. i have always been a fellowship kind of person, game for fun and time to chill together. and my schedule is usually packed from back to back. but now, i appreciate the time that i have to rest, to think and to reflect. perhaps, this could be what it means by less is more. sometimes doing lesser will result in greater productivity instead.
