couldn't get to sleep last night and so decided to pray for my members. i prayed for their school and their personal lives. and God indeed answered my prayers as i prayed for them. evidently from the smses that i received. a lot of thoughts has been running through my mind but i believe that as i take the step of faith, God moves.

first day of school is rather slack as usual, but it does give you an overview of the sem ahead. a lot more work to do and even more battles to fight. my favourite part of lessons are usually the video screenings. they tend to spur on a lot more thought.

today was on how people tend to perceive their culture as superior to another. one of the more knowns are the whites and the blacks. the differentiation of people has always been an issue that plagued people. how willing are we to accept people that are different from us. i pray that all my members would be living examples of agapae. even for myself, i want to be more loving as a person, to be quicker to listen and slower to judge. to want to hear from the people themselves den to hear from others. can we all be colour-blind to the people ard us, albeit bangladesh or indians? i believe we can so long each of us take the stand. the question is once again, how willing are we to? The teacher tried an exercise on her third-graders, segregating the brown and blue-eyed students, calling one superior to another. till date, this is still an unforgettable experience and has shaped their life principles. this is the impact that one man can make and i salute her for the courage she has to take that stand against discrimination. we can all make the difference!

on another note, with thanks to the bugging from yinling, i went to see a doctor. don't particularly like seeing the doc cause of the medicine that we got to take regularly. but i reckon i hate the sick feeling even more. and to top it off, the drowsiness although the doc gave me non-drowsy medicine. i pray that i'll get well by the time i get up again!!!

the loadful of medicine the doc gave...
