feeling a bit restless and drained now. by right, it should have been a victory score, all pumped up after the sharing with my people. but yet, i am feeling a bit worn. perhaps i am just tired. after all it has been a loooong yet fulfilling day. maybe the wee hours of the day is really meant for sleeping and not solitude, esp after the rather long walk back into school.
met up with fiona today to talk about stuff like education, studies, life and many more. was a good time over breakfast at ya kun - yummy eggs and tasy toast!
met up with liwei for lunch thereafter. was great to have been able to catch up with her over lunch after two whole months! my mindset was challenged and in no way, should i be preparing excuses for myself in the next few months to come. one point she made that was rather valid is that the current generation searches to 'take' and go for instant gratification. and that is why we see groups of people always complaining and complaining some more. let's learn to not be complainers but pple that effect change.
caught ponyo with some of the members thereafter. so kawaii! amazing that a friend of mine actually watched it 6 times! but was indeed a good time of fellowship. love hanging out with all of you guys. hopefully we'll get more opportunities to chill out this year. :)
oh. and the most exciting piece of news yet... LIWEI IS GOING TO GO FOR THE HONGKONG CONVENTION TRIP TOO!!! and we'll probably look for people to put us up to save on accomodation and extend our stay to go SHOPPING! she was saying that we should extend our stay till friday den fly back to take cg, preparing sermon on the aeroplane, like how pastor usually does it. and i'm gonna take an aeroplane before i turn 20! *weets* i pray for the finances to come in for trip and i believe it will really be a time of transformation and change. looking forward to hear Dr. ARB again and also be impacted by the people there as well. Any more takers for the trip? ^_^
i think i am really falling in love with writing. it does help me to straighten out my thoughts and get things out of my system once i get into the momentum of it. don't think it is exactly like a best friend but it sure is a keeper of memories and life journey....
