it is the second (or rather, third day) of the new year. feeling a bit tired with an itching throat...
chilled with yinling and discussed abt our stall at funfest and went shopping at URS. sad thing that happened was a bad that fell from somewhere, whacking me on my head and face while i was trying a pair of shoe. *pain*
kinda liked the shoe but wasn't quite in a mood thereafter since they don't have my size either. felt a bit无辜地受害...
was just reminded today about going back to the basics - the first joy, the first love and the first faith. the never say die attitude and the faith that kept on believing in the potential of the people in what they can do. it is what keeps the energy and faith going. and i guess this is what Jesus meant by child-like faith. although people do disppoint us and let us down, end of the day, we all need to learn to manage our expectations and let go.
been struggling with my thoughts for quite a while now. had enough of down time. time i picked myself up and returned to the first works to get back the first love. i'm sick of always being so tired. going to have more time for rest, leisure and exercise this year. the exhuberance and energy of lil ms sunshine...
and this year, will be a year of growth. i look forward to see all my members growing this year into the beautiful and wonderful people, loving God and serving Him. i look forward to the friendships that i will forge with my fellow leaders and my course and hall mates. i look forward to a woman from the girl in me - the resilience(girl power), reflecting the grace of God.
and i realized i am turning TWENTYYYY this year...
