movie: the wedding game
the show was rather witty with its much albeit subtle local flavours. starring the very much mentioned golden couple, it was literary real life in play. much of the show was pretty close to hert as we saw familiar places being travelled to, and not forgetting the brands that are so well-known here.
the start of the show was full of mimickery (and mockery) of broadcast and real-life celebrities that is known to all. i found the part where all the photographers are named after the different kind of chicken delicacies rather funny, all because the chinese word for camera and chicken has the same sound.
and what is obvious in the show were all the sparks that went all over. wei and i mentioned in passing that how some couples get together because of the 'pressure' put by people on the duo getting together. while other times, it is just what people simply mentioned in passing that actually marks and sparks something. i personally pray that the possibility of me and bld would never be. it is a bit scary how different people keep brining out the possibility.
and to do a comparison of the two movies, one celebrates girlfriends, while the other celebrates kinship. one draws tears, the other invites laughters. albeit both centres around the concept of marriage, the perspective and insights are distinctly different.
oh. and the kid at the end of the show is just so KAWAII!
marriage is no kids' play...
