in the twinkle of an eye, the weekend has been spent and it'll be another stretching week ahead.
but i'm glad to say that my weekend has been relatively well-spent.
and the BEST NEWS this weekend?!?
Mama came to church with me and she'll go to church with me again next week!
praying that mama would be touched and would not back out on me.
pastor's sharing about man and woman in a marriage is really a great blessing. young as some of us may be, but it is important that we learn while we are yet young. when we are young, we learn quick and tend to be more teachable. it is good that we can learn in such setting as well.
someone once said that one who is wise would learn from the mistakes the others make and learn from them as well. i pray that all that was taught would be caught and i look forward to see a new generation of pple who would view marriage differently and work it out together.
on hindsight, many people have been talking about relationships and some are contemplating of getting themselves attached and some getting married. nevertheless, the urge to merge should never be founded on pressures but out of maturity - a growing into. the key lies in waiting, in having the patience to wait and develop ourselves. a friend commented 'good things are worth waiting for.' why compromise on the second best when you can have the best? and as another would put it, FOCUS on what is most important at hand and all things would work itself out...
waiting helps us to cherish what we have even more...
