i'm once again glad that pastor talked on the 5 needs of men and women. it did help and taught me a lot - the things that i need to learn to look out for and grow to become. at the end, we saw many married couples renewed their vows. among which are jo and richie, eugene and yilun, gab's parents and shawn's parents. it is really a blessing to see them being so much in love with each other, even after all these years. the record i heard from wei as of now is a couple that is married for 50 years! this is when 天长地久really counts as compared to 曾经拥有. i want to have a blessed and loving marriage in the years to come, making it a heaven on earth. by His grace, it shall be so! 

and right now, i'm really blessed to have friends that love me and care for me just as i am. and over valentine's day, i received a few gifts. for one, i now have a uber lovely desktop wallpaper and it is EXCULSIVELY MINE! (with full compliments to wei; i got a rose from her too!) alicia made me a rose and had some goodies thrown in. ger made a wallet card with a photo taken together. min gave me a treat at Valenwine on fri which got us a bit 'intoxicated'. but anyhow, i thank God for the friends He put in my life and especially so for min and wei. beautiful and wonderful girlfriends to have - something that no guy or boyfriends can ever replace. girlfriends who fight with you by the arm, girlfriends who rebuke and tell you the truth in the face with no mixing, girlfriends who do crazy things alongside you, girlfriends who share your jokes and girlfriends who know you through and through... (this list can still go on actually...)

i'm enjoying the times i have with my girlfriends (special mention to wei and min) - times where NO GUYS allowed. it helps us all to embrace our feminity and build a strong support network for there are things that only girls can understand and would do. babes, learn to embrace your singlehood and build strong girlfriends in your life - they are one of the best gifts that we are to receive. 

but, i'm definitely still thankful for the guy friends in my life, people who have taught me many many things as well. guy friends who really showed me what do we mean by men and took care of the girls around them, lending the helping hand and of course, the friendship. 

and together with 3 other friends, we are starting http://napkins-art.blogspot.com/. sitting at tcc, with napkins and pens, we doodled and came up with an entire collection of very interesting poems and doodles. but still in the midst of uploading. it is in the simplest things of life that we find great joy! in the company of friends, everyting can be great fun! 

another thing i am in celebration is that i get to go away during mid-term to cameron with wei! 

and now... it is time to hit my readings and research... 
they are one of the friends that i'm still learning to work with and build up chemistry...

i count my friends as blessings and i know how blessed i am...
