HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENN!
just got back from his surprise birthday celebration. and now, he is the same age as me, before i bade my teenage years adieus in 6 months time. i think birthdays are really a wonderful time to appreciate people and to love them, considering the lengths that people would go to. i look forward to birthdays!
visited pc's place after work today and was really blessed. i am really WOW-ed when i heard that his mum is actually contemplating of going to SOT this year! talk about passion! i really salute mums for all that they do. imagine being a wife, a mother, a daughter, a cgl and a job to top it all. women are really the most amazing creations of God!
and as i heard and saw the parent-child relation, i was reminded of my own with daddy. we were so apart and i never felt the presence of my father until i was 16, on father's day. ever since then, things got better gradually. daddy is now more approachable and i can talk to him in a way that i never could. i'm glad and i really am. i look forward to the day that daddy can be my friend. and i'm seriously contempating of taking my hols to learn how to roast duck, char siew and roasted pork. it never hurts to acquire additional skills. =p
